DAV Public School, Duttnagar,Rampur, has a well-stocked library. The books for the library have been procured keeping in view the need of the students. It provides academic resources for all constituents of the school - students, faculty and administrative staff. The library strives to make resources readily accessible when and wherever they are needed to enhance and promote the total growth and development of the students. The library endeavors to provide students with opportunities to learn how to utilize materials in a variety of formats to access information so that they can continue lifelong learning.
Besides books, a large number of Magazines, Periodicals and Newspapers are available in school library.
Library Rules

Every student is allowed to draw 2 books at a time for a period of not more than 14 days. However, a book can got, re-issued with the special permission of the Librarian if it is not reserved.

If a student fails to return the book with in the prescribed time limit, a fine of Rs1/- per day will be levied.

Any kind of damage to a book borrowed from the Library will render the borrower liable for a fine & for disciplinary action.

If a student loses a library book He/She will be required to pay full price with 20% extra charge of the book or replacement of the same book.

Reference books will not be issued any one. These are only available for consultation in the library with the permission of the librarian.

Books issued from the library must not be lent to other.

Complete silence should be maintained in the library.
